I’m Nicole McLean

I’m here to help you build more than just muscle. I help women create strength, confidence, and real lifestyle changes through sustainable training and nutrition habits. Whether you're brand new to lifting, trying to find a better balance with food, or ready to build more strength, I'm here to guide you with structure, accountability, and support that actually makes sense for your day-to-day life.

Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and your biggest hype woman.

My own journey into fitness started long before I ever became a personal trainer. It's been shaped by a combination of experiences that helped me realize how powerful movement, nutrition, and self-care can be in transforming your life.

I graduated with a degree in Business Management, but I’ve always had a deep passion for health and wellness. I played soccer and ran cross country at Johnson & Wales University, and during college, I discovered my love for running marathons and ran my first marathon with my dad in 2011. This was the start of my commitment to fitness and learning what it takes to push my body to new limits.

After college, I worked as a rehab aide in a physical therapy office, which sparked my interest in helping people not only get stronger but also recover and move better.

It was during this time that I decided to take my passion for health to a new level by applying for the Peace Corps. I was fortunate enough to work on health initiatives in Kyrgyzstan, where I helped communities improve their well-being with limited resources. This experience reinforced my belief that health isn’t about perfection, it’s about consistency and making the most of what you have.

Since becoming a certified personal trainer in 2015, I’ve coached hundreds of women both in-person and online. I spent 3 years coaching at Equinox Bethesda, where I became one of the top-performing trainers at the Bethesda location. But I knew I wanted to do more, to create a coaching experience that wasn’t just about workouts, but about building a lifestyle that feels good and lasts. That’s when I launched Nicole Ogin Fitness.

My Coaching Philosophy

Fitness has completely changed my life, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. In 2022, I made the decision to quit drinking to improve my mental health. Since then, I’ve lost 20 pounds, built the strength to deadlift 300 pounds, and was even featured in Women’s Health Magazine. But the biggest transformation wasn’t the number on the scale or the weight on the barbell, it was the confidence, clarity, and freedom that came from creating sustainable habits and showing up for myself every day.

Now, I help women do the same.

My coaching is built around the belief that real change comes from progress, not perfection. I work with women of all ages who are tired of the extremes, the crash diets, the “all or nothing” mindset, the pressure to do it all perfectly. My approach combines personalized strength training, habit-based nutrition, and compassionate support to help you feel strong, confident, and in control of your health.

Whether you’re brand new to the gym, struggling with consistency, or just ready to feel better in your body, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we’ll build a plan that fits your life, not the other way around.

If you’re ready to build lasting habits, get stronger inside and out, and create real momentum in your health journey, I’d love to work with you.
